The Matrix is Real
I am not writing this because I have seen The Matrix hundred times. Its because I wanted the world to know that I believe it.
It's not the first time I am feeling that I am, In fact all of us are in a Matrix. There are several unsolved mystery in this world whose answer can not be given by even Science. But when we start believing in Matrix, it appears that there's no mystery at all.
There are simple questions also which make us amuse like why does someone tries to look like someone follows someone yet tries to look different ? Why does a curly hair girl want's it straight and straight haired gets it curled ? We are programmed to like the change, we are programmed to get our-self busy. In ancient Indian artifacts and literature, Vedas, its clearly mentioned that our mind is like pond with a lot of vrittis (interference) due to so many thought waves. It keeps us from self realization.
I'll keep on posting my thoughts ... on The Matrix

Speak Your Mind
Always saying "yes" when you mean "no" is a surprisingly easy habit to get into. However, if you always behave in the same way, you'll never get anywhere new. This exercise will help you get off that treadmill. We all have the power to change our patterns of behaviour and become what we want.
How does it work?
This is a good group exercise, but can also be effective as a one-on-one session. It's better not to do it on your own, as the whole point is to modify your response to others. It also uses the 'Pendulum effect'. It allows you to go to the opposite extreme of where - or who - you usually are so that somewhere along the line a 'middle way' can be found.
- Imagine a scenario in the past where you have said "yes" but meant "no". Explain to the group or your exercise partner what the situation was, what the outcome was and how you felt.
- Ask your partner to ask you the question that you should have said "no" to. This needs to be one sentence.
- It shouldn't turn into a debate! We're not looking for the person asking the question to give a convincing argument of why they need a "yes". As soon as they start to ask the question, interrupt and say clearly and loudly: "NO!".
- If there are several people in the group, get them to form a line. Each person should begin to ask you: "Can you stay late at work tonight?" or "Mum, please can you help me do this?" - and so on. As soon as you have said "no" they must go to the back of the queue.
- If there are just two of you, then the questioner receives the "no", steps away and then steps back and asks again.
- With each request your "no" has to become more and more determined, blunt and even rude. Whether you're working in pairs or as part of a group, the questions should come thick and fast, in as many ways as you can imagine.
- This exercise can go on for at least 30 "nos". Once you've finished, jot down on a piece of paper how you feel. Focus on the positive feelings you're experiencing. Keep this piece of paper with you.
- The next time you feel like saying "yes" remember your feelings and how you felt writing down those words. Feel free to say "no". Back it up with a short, reasonable explanation if necessary, but if you mean "no" then let it be heard!
Remember, it's often the case that people treat us as we feel we deserve to be treated. Once we make it clear first to ourselves, and then through our actions to others that the rules have changed, then people will change the way they treat you as a matter of course. With dedication you can become the person you want to be.

sinking of iips indore
For the very first semester everything was almost perfect, as i predicted. After that i am close expector to the sinking of IIPS. Year by year its reputation is diminishing, so the intake quality so and so it goes recursively. You can see the difference in the intake statistics. Earlier there were 60-65 % students used to be from other parts of india nd rest from indore. This statistics is swapped now. There's no competition, no quality and most important of all no vision.
I remember that there used to be students who have made first wearable computer of india and one who made kabadibazaar.com, those who took IIPS at rank 24 in all india B- Schools ranking.
Surprised !! don't be. Ever visited our library? specially those projects sections made by students. Go add some history of IIPS to your spare memory. Browse the projects made by those people and the projects made in last 4 years. You will observe the difference yourself.
For the last few years it was very very frustating for me , i was not able to find someone to come along. But thanks to time, it just healed away everything. It was very difficult or me to understand why it happened, but now i think i 've learned using off class time. There is no college in India having only 4 hour lectures. After that you are free, you have full 20 hours in hand. I think my train is back on track.
Now i realise that only difference was the students, not the faculty not the infrastructure, nothing else. Those students used their time not like us who sit back and relax that everybody gets placed so easily so will be us. And believe me other difference was the fear which propelled them to study like anything. Fear was simple, IIPS was not very recognized. Thay had only one way to get through this, "study everything that comes in our way" and proof for this is the very first batch which is most successful than any following batches. They are all in United States. Time is a great teacher. I felt it.
if you are surprised why i'm sharing all this to you, then i say
